Frequently Asked Questions
What safety measures are in place during camp?
Your child's safety is our priority. We maintain a small coach-to-camper ratio and have CPR and First-Aid certified staff on-site at all times. We conduct daily field safety inspections before activities begin.
What equipment does my child need to bring?
Campers should arrive with soccer cleats, shin guards, a labeled water bottle, and sunscreen. We recommend bringing a size 4 or 5 ball. We will also have balls provided.
How are drop-off and pick-up handled?
Check-in starts at 8:15 AM at the main gate at The Vanguard School Turf. For safety, a parent or authorized guardian must sign the camper in and out with the check-in coach. Pick-up is between 12:30 and 1:00 at the same location.
What happens in case of bad weather?
In the event of heavy rain or lightning, campers will be moved to the school's Junior High building adjacent to the turf field. We will continue with indoor games and other camp activities until the weather has cleared or it is time for pick-up.
Are snacks/meals provided during the camp days?
Campers must bring their own snack for a short break in the morning. We will provide a water refill station for campers to use throughout the day.
